Land of Iron Boss stuff

Slifer

Question

I just finished the Land of Iron mission with the help of appa and ana primal. Doing the tower mission was the worst nin experience I've had, and I have been spawn killed by eight year olds in takumi at 2 am. Having finished it, I would like to address a couple things.

When you finish the mission and trigger the cutscene, you are bombarded with flashes of white each time a new npc comes to "help." These flashes of white are actually legit not ok. Many games have seizure warnings for this kind of thing, and there is no warning for this. Your eyes just get combo'd for no reason. I suggest just removing that flash. Give the npcs the flicker animation to come in. Easy and simple.

Secondly, the robes you unlock should have more colors, and the first one should be free. You just did all this work for the entire village, all the samurai you killed (800. I repeat. 8.0.0.), the two insanely op bosses, all the ryo spent on coming back, and you are rewarded with slightly more exp than the bounty hunting mission, and your choice between a blue, brown, pink, or teal robe AND it costs you 22,000 ryo. I think there should be as many color options as at least the 35,000 ryo jacket. Give us the option for a black robe, red robe, orange, purple, yellow, at least please :(. As for making the first one free, that's not as important. It really should be though considering it's supposed to be the Chief's gift to you. "Thank you for saving all of us and doing all the tasks for us, I'll now let you spend 22,000 ryo for one of these four robes." It's kind of like slap to the face to be honest.

Lastly, the bosses themselves.... You have to cheese these bosses. You cannot have a cool normal fight with them. There is absolutely no reason they should be able to flicker to you, stun you, then one shot you. You cannot create a build that doesn't get one shot. Kanye West said it best, no one man should have all that power. Well, two men do, and it is not cool. The other thing is health. These boys are BEEF cakes. You could make them stand still and do nothing and it would take one person 10 minutes to drain their health, probably longer. I'd suggest making the health less, and damage less. It still has to be a boss, I don't want them to be glacier bear tier. But hey, maybe reduce the damage per hit to like 700 and not 4000. And decrease their health by like 1/4 or 1/5.

And I know I said lastly, but pls those rooms are so small. Why so small?

If nothing else, pls I want to buy a red fur robe ;-;

Lol, I have solo'ed BOTH bosses, it's time consuming but nonetheless achieved. I agree the boss mechanics are stupid in this game, they just increase their hp and dmg, my point here is after you guys killed it once you think you have the right to come on here and complain about it when i've killed the thing over 900 times now.

you did all the times with a medic when i was around + you played on your akatusk ring build

I believe Land Of Iron is fine, its really grindy which I approve of, the only thing I'd suggest is more EXP from missions since you can gain 3 levels just by Land of Toad and barely a level from Iron.

I think the bosses are doable with some experience in boss killing in general. The robes you unlock are fine imo, you'll also drop plenty of weapons while completing the Saga which are rewarding enough for me.

I've been killing these bosses since the 3rd day of Land Of Iron release and I haven't had any issues with them. Stop crying about it and trying to make it easier.

Not all of us have akatsuki ring boost sir not to mention this shit is damn near impossible for a bubble mastery user

The robes are fine, but what is the harm in giving more variety? All this work for four colors?

You did not solo both bosses over 900 times. I do not know what you are trying to gain by lying about it. 99% of your kills on either boss, I guarantee, are cheesed. That is not something to be proud of. A game designer shouldn't be proud that the bosses in their game are killed via lame exploits the extreme majority of the time.

I agree with Hageshi, the exp on the missions should be increased and maybe it will be ideal if the hp of the bosses along their attack power is brought down a bit.

Each LOI mission should at least give us the exp of that of vmw2 and the starters that are a bit easier like "Guarding the barricades Part 1/2" can give vmw1 exp, it's supposed to be a quest-line like toads that should at least boost us 5 levels(including the experience from the mobs)

I actually also want another hp nerf on kuraken, it's just too much hp to be brought down, even with a dps group and agi tai/med, it takes 35+ mins to bring it down including a chakra medic that heals us like a bot without stopping.

I agree too. LOI missions themselves is alright albeit real time consuming. The experience points should scale more for the time it takes to complete them.

The requirement for the iron pieces for the samurai missions should be adjusted/lowered. It should follow the average drop rate it would take to kill that many samurai.

I never reached the tower because of the time consumption for the experience rate. It is better to do WW/BH missions and log off most of the time. LOI is no exception to the missions that need fixing in Nin.

Lastly, LOI's map-layout should be changed to stop people from getting jumped at low hp.

1) Move mobs far enough away from map switch

2) Add sides maps to change the overall LOI maps to not be a straight line to make it harder to search for people.

Guarantee? You've been in that boss room once in your life and you're telling me you guarantee that I cheese it? Lmfao I beg you go complain somewhere else, Rory already knows everything there is to know about the boss killing, I showed him day one everything, the only cheese method is when Primal uses his summon over the wall and sits in the other room to let the boss dmg itself. I've killed the bosses legit since they came out.

it not fine the hps is to much for anthing it made for only ghighest of int player to farm and the boss have way way to much hp and do to much damage most games have one of those tank or high damage not both.Pve content feel just grindy in loi it doesnt feel nice or speical .The issue with the boss is they can be hard and grinds but should be soloable becuase it A mission not a general grind like the toad boss you can solo him becuase he is part of the mssion story.

I'm familiar with seizure risks. However, I'm pretty sure one solid white flash is considered safe. There are no consecutive flashes. You're not supposed to be spamming your way through that scene, there is dialogue.

That's a fair point. Will consider that.

Not every fight should take place in open spaces. We design each mastery with different terrain, some are better when the enemies can't run etc. so in the same way the game's world and story fights are going to play to different advantages.

Not everybody wants to read the dialogue. I didn't care at all, hence why I spammed my way through. I suggest making the dialogue similar to the dialogue for creating a new character then. Where you can't spam past it.
