  1. From village shops to event shops(or even drops), what new items/clothing would you like to see?

Provide examples if you can to better show what you’re talking about, try to keep it somewhat Ninja or anime related as these items need to fit into the Nin Online atmosphere.

We all want more items and clothing to be available but the hardest part is the creation. If good examples can be provided this can help content creators know what’s wanted and what to work on.

I don’t want to make promises but if there’s a good bit of examples provided I’d like to reach out to get the pixel art for those items worked on.

    EDIT 11/15/2022:

To clarify, nothing can be done or influenced on how items are implemented in the game.

I’m simply looking for item ideas to help with art, if there are items or clothing not in the game that you would like to see please bring them up and post examples

    The Endgame
The endgame is by far the best experience of NinOnline.
It has multiple layers depending on the type of player you are, but doesn't really get you bored, if the population is fair.
You try to improve with your masteries to get better in PvP or to slay Bosses you aim for.
You try to reach your goals, no matter if you want to be a leader, a villain, a guardian, a tutor or rich trader. The foundation is given for everything.
PvP is the best part of the endgame in my opinion. It's fun to fight solo against one or multiple enemies, in group fights or even raids. If my friends are around and the population is fair, I could do it for countless hours.

You really just described the gameplay here, not Nin Onlines endgame.

  3. Can confirm this happens to me constantly as well.

For a long time I thought I was just really messing up my typing, but more it happened the more I'd notice a key entered wouldn't register correctly, resulting in constant misspellings.

Might need an issue ticket for this

The absolute outstanding difference in how hard something becomes to cancel when it is a walk/run cast compared to a stand still cast is very high.

I don't think treat wounds should be a walk/run cast, it will make chakra medic gameplay too frustrating to fight against.

I DO think treat wounds should go back to 1s cast time. Sirch nailed the point perfectly here, it took skill and coordination and was very rewarding for combat medic gameplay. Now medics are reduced to sitting in the backline just waiting, channeling the slowest support skills in the game, while others have fun.

    Exactly.

    Cell Regen was reverted.

Treat Wounds is still nerfed with the extra second cast time. It is what it is, but supporting in Nin is limited as it is, now Medics are forced to play in the back if they are trying to land any sort of heal, severely handicapping any sort of combat medic role.

I only think Treat Wounds should be a walk cast if it's staying at the 2 second cast time. If it's not staying as the 2 second cast time and goes back to 1 second, leave it stationary :)

    Update changes:
No change to chakra points cost,
No Change to animation or movement cast,
(Nerf due to animation not lining up with new cast time) [EDIT: CHANGE HAS BEEN MADE FOR THIS]
Casting time changed from 1 second to 2 seconds, (Nerf)
Given identifying alert on use (Nerf)

    - 10 chakra points cost
    - 14 second cooldown
    - 4 heals(scale with chakra stat) every 3 seconds for a 12 second duration
    (80 chakra stat = 65 heal ticks x 4 for 12 sec. = 260)
    - 2 second casting time
    - Stationary cast
    - Identifying casting notification
    - Can only cast on others

    Cell Regeneration
    Update changes:
Chakra points cost reduced from 140 rank 3 to 100 rank 3, (Buff)
    Healing amount increased, (Buff)
Can now cast while on the run (Buff) [EDIT: CHANGE HAS EEN MADE FOR THIS]

    - 100 chakra points cost
    - 24 second cooldown
    - 5 heals(scale with chakra stat) every 2 seconds for a 9 second duration
    (80 chakra stat = 50 heal ticks x 4 for 12 sec. = 250)
    - 2 second casting time
    - Running cast
    - Identifying casting notification
    - Can cast on others and self

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Cell Regeneration heals for essentially the same amount of total heals as Treat Wounds, but in a shorter amount of time, while being able to cast from afar at a 9 tile difference-- and the only self heal.

New Treat Wounds notification is more identifying than Cell Regeneration's notification. This was fine when cast time was 1 second, the new sound is easier to pick up and can make players more alert, which is both a pro and con for team play. Good players would always be on the look out for a Treat Wounds heal either way.

Coordinating with teammate for Treat Wounds in team fights use to be have to be done some what tactically. Good players knew when to look for these or give them out. Likewise, good players also know when to look for these and disrupt. Previously this was a quick exchange. Now Treat Wounds is easily disreputable with the additional cast time. On top of this the animation does not match the cast time for Treat wounds, making it confusing for players to land correctly when in team fights.

Dont even know where to begin with Cell Regeneration.. Watch a 1v1 auto-tournament after the recent patch. If that doesnt sway anyone for change to be made I'm not sure what to say.. There were multiple matches that finished due to time out, with the strategy for the match being get the last hit due to both players being at full health. In the few months I've played, and the tons of auto tournaments I've been to, I have only seen one time out win.

    Opinion:
    First and foremost,
remove run cast from Cell Regeneration, revert Treat Wounds back to 1 second cast time.

Adjust the healing output between Treat wounds and Cell Regeneration, should a ranged heal and basically-not-a-ranged heal have the same healing output?

Adjust Cell Regeneration cooldown, make it longer.

Really want to keep Treat Wounds as 2 second cast time? Make Treat Wounds a walk cast/run cast while being 2 seconds. If not keep it at 1 second and keep both Jutsu as stationary.

    Lets get wild opinion:
    Cell Regeneration:
Remove self heal, making it only cast-able on others.
    Remove the run casting.
Keep the 2 second cast time.
Keep the 11 tile cast range.
Give a longer cool down than current 24 seconds.
Give longer heals over time with smaller heal ticks.

    Treat Wounds:
Change to self cast-able, making it cast-able on others and yourself(switching it to the only self heal, which can help new players as well, maybe not scare people off from playing medic).
Remove stationary casting, give it a walking movement.
Keep the 2 second cast time. Adjust animation to work with this.
Keep the 3 tile cast range.
Give a longer cool down than current 14 seconds, but not overkill(18? 20? Depends on total heal output).
Give shorter heals over time with larger heal ticks.

Debatable on if they should both have similar heal output or not.

    -Signed a healer

(PLEASE think about bringing people on for a balance team)

    EDIT:
THANK YOU @Ueda for reverting the experimental run cast on Cell Regeneration

THANK YOU @Erox for adjusting the Treat Wounds animation for the new two second cast timer

Appreciate what you do, please consider other healing changes as well :)

  7. I do think adding training dummies to some areas would be a good idea,
but not sure I agree with being able to train jutsu with them. I'm of the belief those should be ranked up the current, proper, way-- through use on mobs/players.

But having them around so we could train combos, practice on, and log damage shown would be a nice addition to some starting areas/Villages in my opinion.
(Basically indestructible/very healthy training dummies that jutsu could not level up on)

  8. To preface this:
I'm still somewhat new and not sure if this exists already. I hear "war event" mentioned from time to time but outside of it being mentioned I havnt seen what that looks like or when those take place, so I apologize if I'm suggesting something counter productive here.
    ---------------------------

GM Naer recently hosted what I found a really interesting event.

I wasnt able to participate, but it made me wonder why events like these arnt more of a regular/scheduled thing.

    My thought:
Have one of these hosted once per Kage term.

Play out very similar to how the event above is posted,
it could be up for discussion but I think you make it a point based win system.

Start with 4v4s/3v3s, Kages sit out of these but they draft from the members they have available. Similar to what you would find if playing a MOBA with drafting heroes.

Follow this up with 1v1s, all still earning points per village for wins. Kages drafting these matches as well.

Finishing off with maybe the Kage's getting a shot to fight for a bonus round of points. Value being just a little more for winner here at a chance to either help catch up some points or secure the Village win completely.

I'm unsure of a prize for the winning Village, but I do think there should be a trophy of sort or something for the Village outside of bragging rights.
I also think there should be a MVP chosen for each of these events. Maybe even an MVP title for the chosen MVP.

If it's just for testing other masteries and seeing new jutsus, I do not think it should cost ryo when it is unusable outside the building.

If it had an arena or reward aspect tied to it, then I would consider adding ryo.

Yeah thats perfectly fine too, no need for the Ryo cost, but game tends to want to try and get players to spend Ryo, which I assume is to help the get rid of Ryo so it doesnt build up within the game. Some stonks stuff.

My thought is they'd be cheap purchases, maybe not as cheap as Nin throwing tools right now(2 Ryo), but maybe 5, 10, 25, etc etc. Not break the bank purchases, just something to keep that Ryo flow in game.

    Up to creator discretion.

  10. To preface this suggestion:

Conversation over a Mastery Reset ability/item/purchase(I'm sure we've all seen similar conversations or had similar thoughts) was brought up earlier and had me thinking about this topic. I'm personally a fan of the current games decision over not being able to reset Mastery in any fashion(that I'm aware of as least). I'll leave it at that for the topic of Mastery Reset.

BUT, I do think this suggestion could be a reasonable thought that would with the educating players on Masteries and the Jutsus in Nin Online.

    NINJA TOOL TECHNOLOGY(Scientific Ninja Tools)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Introduction of a new Nin Online NPC!
    Sake Tōdo

Sake Tōdo works with all Villages on his research over Ninja Tool Technology. He brings each Village a Ninja Tool Technology Research Center, where the use of Jutsu can be provided and refined for the world of Nin.

    -----------------------------------------

Sake Tōdo will be an NPC based off the character Katasuke Tōno, mainly known for his appearance in Boruto.
Katasuke Tono is a scientist and researcher working at Konohagakure's Scientific Ninja Weapons Team. He is introduced at the end of Naruto, and has a focused story in Boruto revolving around his belief in the Scientific Ninja Tools he works on. He believes his research with these tools can better the Ninja world.

Ninja Tool Technology Research Centers will bring a facility to each Village where Ninja can purchase and work with the Research Centers team on Ninja Tool technology.
Here these facilities will offer Ninja a place to purchase tools that mimic Nin Jutsu, using technology.
These purchased Jutsu will only be usable while within the Research Centers facility.

    -----------------------------------------

    The General Idea:
A facility is brought to each Village where players can test Jutsu while within the area.
My original thought was give players the ability to test each Mastery while within the Academy, and I still think that is a fine idea itself, but this idea with Ninja Tool Technology is a better route, in my opinion.

These facilities would be an area where players can purchase tools that mimic the Nin Jutsu within the game.
I would think the best directions for this is either the tool crumbles when leaving the facility(giving infinite uses after Ryo purchase).
Or, you purchase them as a per use basis similar to current Nin tools(giving single use after Ryo purchase).

This ideas on the why's and how's can be bent a couple different ways, Sake Todo and Ninja Tool Technology is just an avatar for the system.

Not denying this would probably be a lot of work, on multiple fronts. Just thought this could help keep the permanence that is your Mastery selections, while also bringing a system that can benefit the game by lessening the fear-of-missing-out that comes with this big decision.

I also believe once you hit 50 and make your second selection, you should not be allowed back within the facility.
