We're trying to recruit and train new people to help make the game quicker. You can use this engine to learn the ropes of our engine. If anyone doesn't know, Hitspark is our name (publisher) that produces Nin Online. There's still a lot of work to do, since we're just an indie developer although we have been expanding trying to grow at a faster rate to make games quicker. This is the bet way to get into making online video games, since we actually have a game that is being actively developed.

i have a lot of experience with map creation i did create my own maps, towns, dungeons and quests useing the Remere's RME Map Editor ,that was for my Tibia Server back in 2006-8.

tho i can't find the Map Editor of this engine, only Server and Client.

Like I said I didn't care for the event and I didn't care for ones previous thus I didn't have any expectations, I was just giving my point of view from running games and watching how games have been run for many years. If you think it's an overreaction meh whatever.

i'm not here to drag this topic forever.

You don't have to guestimate an event day when the server is down..... because it was already delayed once. In my view you shouldn't be testing an event like this till everything else has been tested and the server and everything else is running smoothly. Then you can set a day to test the chunnin exams.

I am very aware of the fact that it's an alpha and a wipe will happen. I couldn't really care less about the event it's the principle of when you give out dates and you don't meet them(twice) it's a poor show.I am not just talking about this event either it's about starts of tests and everything else. Event dates should be given when you are 100% certain that it can take place on that date. 

if you "very aware of the fact that it's an alpha" then don't build up expectations about upcoming Events when you know, that alpha is unstable stage where everything goes wrong!, which means in alpha you can't be "100% certain".

even tho i agree about the fact that the event management is not that organize, i believe they will find the time to create better environment for the events when the time come.

as you know we are Alpha testers which means that we must -"suffer"- and report, you should handle this issue in more organized way that way they can fix and learn for the next time.

 

ps balance your emotions it's only event in game, no need to overreact.

 chunnin exam is only event remember this is alpha and wipe is matter of time even if you take part at this event you will lose the rank (if you finish alive) at the wipe, so calm down its only the first chunnin exam and there's no point to rush this when the core of the game is still got bugs and issues.
