Shiki

Born in the Hidden Mist Village, Shiki grew up in a family of proud swordsmiths, the Murasame clan. Due to this, Shiki was fascinated by swords for as long as he can remember. His father, aside from being a swordsmith, was also a highly capable swordsman, and taught Shiki the way of the sword ever since he could walk on his own two feet, hoping Shiki would become an outstanding ninja.

At the age of 8, Shiki's parents decided to enroll Shiki into the ninja academy. At first, Shiki's experience in the academy was tough. Unlike other children, Shiki wasn't very proficient with Ninjutsu when he entered the academy as he was only taught swordsmanship. Because of his lack of proficiency in Ninjutsu, he was often looked down upon by the other children in the academy. However, this didn't last long as Shiki's skill with the blade was more than enough for most people to ignore his flaws, especially at his age.

In his spare time, Shiki would hone his skill with the blade, but sometimes he would help his father craft swords, and further made him appreciate the art of making swords. The sound of a hammer hitting metal was like music to Shiki's ears, and he would sometimes make his own pieces, but as expected, they were not as good as the ones made by his father.

A few months after Shiki turned 12, it was finally time to graduate from the academy. Shiki was one of the top 10 students in his class, and was able to graduate with flying colors. He was finally a Genin and proudly wears the headband protector of the Hidden Mist Village.
