Considering levelling up fishing takes a long time I do find these buffs and rewards more than appropriate and balanced, however that's something very susceptible to change. Ps : At the end is going to be a list with all the fish prices for these who find interest in this endeavour ! First : Titles - Lvl 30 : Red Anchovy; Lvl 60 : Phatom Tetra; Lvl 100 : Catfish; Lvl 150 : Blowfish; Lvl 200 : Sea Lover; Lvl 250 : Kraken Lover / Master of the Bait; Lvl 300 : Eagle Eye; Lvl 350 : EF-FISH-IENT; Lvl 400 : Sea Gourmet; Lvl 500 : Eldrich Incarnated. Second : Passive Buffs - Lvl 50 : 20% less average wait time; Lvl 100 : 30 % less average wait time + 15% extra chance of rarer fish; Lvl 200 : 40 % less average wait time + 20% extra chance of rarer fish + No longer hook boots; Lvl 300 : 50 % less average wait time + 30% extra chance of rarer fish + No longer hook boots or twigs; Lvl 500 : 60 % less average wait time + 30% extra chance of rarer fish + No longer hook sea weeds, boots or twigs; ( These buffs would work separated from the already existing ones : 20%+ rate in danger zone and 30% in war zone. ) Third and Last : Possible new loot - lvl 1 to 100 : 1% chance of fishing a lost treasure ( worth 200 ryo ); lvl 101 to 200 : 5% chance of fishing a lost treasure ( worth 200 ryo ); lvl 201 to 300 : 8% chance of fishing a gold lost treasure ( worth 200 ryo ); lvl 301 to 400 : 10% chance of fishing a lost treasure ( worth 200 ryo ); Lvl 401 to 500 : 12% chance of fishing a lost treasure ( worth 200 ryo ). All levels : 1% chance of pulling a swordfish sword - - Here are the possible stats : required level 30, 90 strength , causes 28 damage plus bleed for 3 secs after a successful hit. Worth 3000 gold. As asked in the title: What is the benefit of leveling up your Fishing Proficiency? Does it speed up how quickly you reel in fish? Increase higher rarity chance? Increase the size of your reeling bar? Increase the range you can throw your hook? Increase the speed in which you find new fish after throwing out your hook? Does it unlock new fish to be found? What's the benefit? Is there even one yet, or is it too early in the development and it's just a test for the proficiency system as a whole? On top of that, what is the cap and what's the point of the Shuriken next to the level? Are they it's rank?
