  1. Unveiling of the Akatsuki hideout!
  2. I'm sorry to hear you still hold a grudge over that here. Unfortunately, I hold staff team members to a higher standard than the community itself, and my previous attempts at trying to communicate with you properly have all just ended with you throwing insults at me. Which is a clear indication we shouldn't work together.
  3. I wasn't trying to insult you. I explained to you the difference between the statement you presented and the example I gave you, after you criticized my point. A simpler explanation to why we don't punish people for using vulgarities and this isn't a PG13 community is because neither is Naruto. Characters like Hidan constantly used vulgarities, and so, a game about meaningful RP shouldn't punish people for using it sparingly. Sorry if you felt offended by my analysis of your criticism and following rebuttal. Also, I'd like to ask that you take any further rebuttals to DMs as this is a post about non-toxicity and I would rather not need to argue in it. No need to get so defensive here. Chill. PS: For everyone else, this is an example of behavior I want to discourage in the community. Doesn't it seem so unnecessary to be arguing about one person's misunderstanding of a statement I made to the point where he's calling me a chink? Let's do better.
  4. Despite noticing that your lack of understanding on the simple point I was trying to make is probably a facade, and the true motive of your unneeded comments on my post about being positive is just out of a desire to be edgy and stand out. I'll try to attempt to explain to you the difference. The problem with that is that the "my friend" comes off as a tad bit sarcastic after you call somebody a moronic fuckwad. Whereas in my example, I used a vulgarity, without directing it at somebody, but instead used it to exaggerate a statement. EQ is hard to teach! I recommend just talking to more people and putting yourself into real social situations like attending parties or going on dates. Real experience in social situations tend to translate to better behavior in online social interactions as well!
  5. I see zero contradiction in being non-PG13 and being fucking positive and non-toxic. Could say I fucking love you. It's vulgar and positive. No contradiction in NSFW and positive too. I have a lot of great sex. Not toxic at all.
  6. A lot of us have been there, a lot of us will. A state of mind where we're not completely ourselves. In such times, it's completely acceptable to drown yourself in things that make you happy, because time heals a lot of problems. If you're experiencing tough times, and you feel pushed to a corner, Nin Online should be a place where people's feel safe to unwind. Although we're not a PG-13 gaming experience, and our community and game is open to swear words and NSFW talk, let's try to build a positive, non-toxic environment for everyone. When we're RP-ing, it's fine and dandy to behave any way you like. But when OOC, let's remember that life is short and in years to come, we will look back and remember everyone fondly for having added to the experience. Let's stay away from comments like "go kill urself" or "just die", if in a moment of heated conflict you say such things. Think to apologize afterwards, because words do hurt. Be bigger men. Enjoy!

  9. Dear Patrons, I've decided to discontinue my Patreon as it's no longer necessary for my well-being! I'd like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support over one of the toughest periods of my life. Aside from donating, I've received so many sweet messages and words of encouragement from you all, it's more than I could've asked for. The amount of money raised was helpful when it came to paying my initial rent and deposit while I moved into my new place and although I wouldn't have died without it, It has gotten me some warm meals when I might not have been to eat. I've definitely felt the help on a personal level. Thank you for that. On another note, I will start making the Ninja Spotlight videos soon, and although I know it's a little bit late, I do still intend to honor them! Regards, Rory

  13. Ranks Kazekage The Kazekage is the Sand village's leader. The Kazekage is generally regarded as the strongest shinobi in the village, responsible for keeping Suna on an even footing with the other villages despite its small size. 16. Dear Ninja, Today the Sand Village held an independent Chunin Exams! Thank you all of those who turned up to participate. Out of the 10 teams that participated, the promotions that have been decided on are: @nut @bowieeee @MrChubb @Pervy Sage Congratulations on your promotions! Do note that as this is a Sand village Chunin Exam and not a joint Chunin Exam, your rank should only be kept within the village. You may not change villages, however, you may become missing ninja. Regards, Rory
  17. Patch Notes 1/7/2017 Added Sand Village Chunin Exam Hall. Fixed description for Great Earth Prison Technique.
  18. You can't stretch the boxes like that, the quality is hindered. Thanks for the submissions still Love it. I'll see how this looks in-game x) Very nice! All good ideas and decent art skills. If nobody submits better ones, I'll work from this. I feel like anger can be expressed in a multitude of ways. The surrender flag is cool, but it would be better if it waved, which is hard to do. Good idea, a sigh emoticon. The idea is there!
  19. Patch Notes 29/6/2017 Added Exterior of Leaf Village Military Police Force. Updated Exploding Spiked Ball description. Fix more crashes. Fixed Account Manager letting manually exiled ninja back into the village.
  20. Mini Design Contest Just extending the offer to any players who want to give a go at making emoticons for the game. Anything added will be rewarded with $10 Ninja Credit! Template Example It doesn't have to be limited to 4 frames Be creative.

  22. Patch Notes 18/6/2017 Improved Dynamics between Surveillance Missions and Guard Duty Missions. If there are currently spies on the map you are guarding, your timer will decrease instead of increase. To ensure you can complete the mission, make sure there are no spies on your map. If there are spies on the map it will display "Guarding Interrupted". Once you are finished guarding, it will now display "Guard Duty Complete". Added Sand Village Arts Theatre. Redesigned Sand Village Aviary exterior with visual cues of an aviary.
  23. Guys.. Specialized Jonin rank is not a higher rank than Chunin. It's a rank outside of the regular promotions, similar to council members title. Saku still needs to participate in Chunins to get the regular line of command promotions. Specialized Jonin rank is given to people who have Jonin-level abilities in ONE area of the ninja arts. I wrote this in the op. Jonin promotions will be announced soon, when Sand Village has suitable jonins as well.
  24. Dear Ninja, The 3rd Chunin Exam aka. First Joint Chunin Exams ended this Saturday 10th June. It was met with great turn out as usual with 20 teams participating. Despite a bumpy start, this was definitely one of the most fun events the game has seen! Instead of our traditional livestream, I took it upon myself to use the Exam stream to host a developer commentary and Q&A which a lot of people seemed to like, maybe more in the future?! This time round the exams were the same format as the first Chunin Exam both as a practice for myself in hosting a well-rehearsed event a second time around, and also because I felt the new players should have an opportunity to get this classic experience now that we just launched into open beta! The exams saw very high level plays in the Preliminary and Finals, some of which were unprecedented, with moments of shock and just people spamming "Amazing" "wow". I would like to personally praise the ninja @soulapparition for performing amazing plays in the preliminaries stage. Good job to all the contestants! With every Chunin exams comes a handful of promotions. For the first time ever, I was not the one deciding on these promotions, the Kages of each village were the ones watching the entire events and with certain guidelines for grading and compulsory points for PvP achievement, they decided on the following ninja! Leaf Village @Deathmall @Tsubaki Senju @KiwiiKat @Riley Haruno @kur @Wilkor @Godric Senju @Ifrit Special Promotion: @Saku Promoted to Specialized Jonin for outstanding survival abilities and medical abilities in 3 Chunin Exams. Specialized Jonin rank is awarded to Ninja who show specialized traits useful to the village. While it is an honor, it is not part of the regular Chunin/Jonin path and hence at times Specialized Jonins will not be treated as a Chunin or Jonin will (eg. They may not be the first choice for commanders in War Events). Specialized Jonins can continue to join Chunin Exams to gain a Chunin/Jonin Rank on top of their Specialized Jonin rank. Sand Village @Brae @Rainyer @Arashi Himitsu @Kaguya Light @Dareem As you can tell, the Sand village has less promotions. This is because there was not as many of them who made it into the preliminaries and finals. As such, the Sand village Kazekage will be hosting a Village-level exam to determine more suitable Chunin promotions! More details on this event will be announced soon! Congratulations to the promoted Ninja! You may upgrade your title in-game by talking to Gumi to claim a special Chunin Rank usable item. Regards, Rory
  25. The 3rd Chunin Exams has ended! Conclusions Unlike the first 2 chunin exams, this time the promotions will heavily be based on the choices made by the Kage of each village. As such, promotions will require some time to verify (Rules, Regulations, Abuses etc.) and approve (through Game Masters and myself). Some brief updates from a quick meeting with the Hokage and Kazekage. - Sand village will promote up to 5 Chunin immediately - Leaf village will promote 8 Chunin immediately - Sand village will be holding a second mini-exam to find more potential Chunin in the coming week. - Potential Jonin and Specialized Jonin Promotions for the Leaf Village are incoming. - The fate of the peace between both villages seems intact, but uncertain. I'd like to thank everyone who has participated today. It was definitely the hardest and longest Chunin Exam to host yet. This time round, my goal was to get more Chunin to populate both villages so that we can start promoting past Chunin Rank, and also to maintain a healthy population of ranked ninja. In a way, Chunin, Jonin and Specialized Jonin are all part of the team, when we run events like today, you will see our Chunin like @Konahri, @Zintosso and @Indra back to help run the event at a last minute notice. This is because once you promote, you have a certain increased responsibility to the village, in terms of RP! Good job to all our returning Chunins, returning participants and to the two Kage @Shirou and @Miki who did well and took a lot of initiatives today. RP in Nin Online has never been this rich, and I hope as we go on, players will continue to take initiatives to build on it the way our prominent players have been doing. I see a good direction for where RP is headed in the coming years, and it's all good signs. There is both drama and interesting positive relationships between players, organizations and villages. Check back here tomorrow to see a final update on promotions and the Sand village mini-exam!
