  1. Just want to make it clear, I'm not complaining at all about new content being added to the game, I just have a few issues with content that is gated so heavily towards sand. The problem: The new dark weasel boss is basically only farmable by sand players Reasons why: Boss spawn timer: Because of the large 1 hour timer, players who are not sand (yes I know for a fact they have it on a timer) have no way of knowing once they enter warzone, when it will spawn. This means you will have to stay in a very dangerous map that sand players pass through frequently for up to 59 minutes. Boss spawn location: Sand warzone is 3 map switches (and not too much running distance) from sand. This means if you are scouted there, it is extremely easy for sand players to respond (not to mention the boss takes a significant amount of time to kill without a large team). You can literally be BI warriored while doing the boss. Compare this to any other boss (mist kuraken being 7 map swaps and a significant running distance to farm). Boss map: This map offers little to no opportunity for counterplay. Compare this to any other map that drops significant sword items (Rat sewers in leaf, mist kuraken map, host cave) I personally think the boss should be moved to a different map further from sand territory with a reduced spawn timer. Considering this is new content, the drop will be one of the swords that is used more than others, and the fact that currently Sand players basically have the monopoly on this item (when it drops + all future drops at this rate) is not something that I think is fair. Let me know what you guys think.

  2. Added new Legendary drop to Kuraken: Asarihanma! Rory has said Kuraken, which is the head. Now I don't know if he knows but that mob is unkillable, it took Emiya 30mins to kill it when he was a GM spamming abilities with over inflated stat points. The reason for this post is because I have killed over 150 tentacles and nothing, yes I understand the rate is super low which isn't a problem, I just hope the head isn't the thing that drops the new item. Also the head REGENS all damage done to it, so yes, it is literally impossible to kill. I hope Rory sees this.

  3. Added new world boss: Dark Monkey King Added new Legendary drop to Dark Monkey King: Adamantine Staff! Adjusted Dark Weasel spawn rate by 10 minutes. Added 22000 XP to Dark Weasel boss kill.

  5. As of the latest update, Leaf has 1 more! The idea is for each village to be unique, so making everything of worth in the center of the game world is not what we want to do. Each village should have things they have advantages in.

  6. Dark weasel is fine to be honest, yea it's easier for sand to farm and pretty difficult for any other village to, but every other village has item drops relatively close to their spawn points. Rogues have Bone boss, Guren, Gafuki, and Hosts (6 weapon drops) Mist can farm Kraken, Tanuki, or Ghosts (2 weapons, 3 cosmetics) Sand has Dark Weasel, Big scarabs, Puppets (2 weapon drops, 2 crafted weapons) Leaf has Rats and Rat Kage (1 weapon drop ) When it comes to imbalance of farmable content, Sand is toward the lower end of the spectrum. The new sand item just feels imbalanced right now because it's new and shiny.

  7. Instead of changing bosses locations, change your village location The sand village accept people who reset with open arms.

  8. Lightning is not balanced compared to the other masteries, it is seemingly weak especially as a solo mastery.

  11. I agree 100%. Sand also has the puppets map that can only really be reliably farmed by sands without a full and balanced squad of players. I suggest moving the Dark Weasel to the big desert as a wandering mob that isn't easy to spot but with a 25 minute timer. An hour is way too long and since this would be a lot more ground to cover, 25 minutes seeks fair. Lots of room for counter play, and a far enough distance from Sand (6 map swaps). Plus the idea of a desert wanderer is cool imo

  12. Ok, light is not the best mastery nor a comfortable one to use, but hear me out on this, this is not a troll post and i will not try to troll. First jutsu, lightning senbon, one of the best light jutsu, nothing too much to change to be honest, i just think that it should stun for .5 sec, also a bit more dmg second jutsu, spear, not the best light jutsu, this jutsu needs more dmg in my opinion third jutsu, lightning cutter, probably the best lightning jutsu, but i think adding more stun to it maybe .2 sec more fourth jutsu, feast of lightning, it should be a running cast homing that stuns for .5 sec fifth jutsu, current, remove the self-stun, make it instant and add more dmg, im talking good damage like 20 base dmg at least Pillars is fine as it is

  13. I just wanna say happy new year to all (except the opps ofc) but i am here to bring to light some issues and solutions to how melee in this game nin is. Traditionally melee is the same 2 punches and a kick plain as day i propose a change to that and here it is: Gentle Fist: when pressure point is activated or (pp for short) the stance of attacking with melee should change Instead of having this charge thing to show we activating it mind that can be cancelled by cc and the cooldown resets or by even moving... i propose a visual method of a symbol shown above and the melee animation should change as well to a more finger piercing style like this and the gentle fist melee should take chakra in my opinion like 1 -2 chakra a punch or sum man to really separate it from agi users Chakra Scaples As chakra medics only i repeat only!!! offensive jutsu i think and truly belive the fighting stance should be changed when its active to more like a slashing type attack and it should add bleeding % or some sot of life steal to help early lvling to be a bit easier since the two paths were separated speaking of separated i do also think that we need more of a clear way to show new players that the paths are separated so a notice or slash on medic icon would be a really nice quality of life for people who dont know . Swords i think the same for sword its the same animation for ever single sword in the game i propose that bandit sword / shirokata have unique stances and melee animation like sword jabs , better slashing effects, scythe as well i also think swords should have a perks eg" bandit blade does bonus dmg to mobs or some and shirokata passive chakra gain should be revamped because its not optimum at all should jsut give a flat chakra buff and have a perk that poison or does bonus dmg to snakes or some like that just throwing ideas scythes as well should do bleed or have a 1 tile aoe spin ever 3 melees again just throwing ideas this would make grinding much less boring with the same animations over and over for hours.. upon hours because these items well no items are easy to acquire in nin so at least these minor changes should give us the players who had to grind them feel some sense of like worth instead of farming them for cosmetics.. Conclusion Nin is a good game has its problems like any other game , i enjoy it , but it gets stale having to see the same fighting animations for every single mastery or weapon its really does get stale so this is just my opinion and many other players as well i hope that the devs will work on this in the future or even allow us the players to create them if its too much work for them idk but yea hopefully one day we can get some diverse stance animations to nin to spice up the combat.

  14. I get your point, it is indeed possible and I support the post so we can bring it to @Ueda's attention to be sure which part of Kuraken exactly it is. And if it is the head by any chance, it needs to be nerfed heavily.

  15. I think you and a lot of other medics have forgotten that you are a MEDIC. You are meant to be weak in pvp, your role isn't to kill the enemies, it's to keep your team mates alive. Your class is already very versatile and can be made into a strong offensive class, you want to add more? Go learn how to play the class instead of adding things to make your life better. Chakra scalpels already hit me for 60+ per auto plus their heals are 100+ per tick, you want lifesteal and minus chakra per hit added to this? What are you smoking so I can also come and have some. Smh Leafies just want to punch the air and win fights with their family tree.

  22. Rat boss is not a fair argument IMO because the rat mobs drop the twin fangs too. Rat boss drop rate for twins is only slightly higher and that boss is not farmed for its drops, the rats are. Also on your point about bringing an army, even an army can't survive being flanked / bi warriored for up to 59 minutes. This is what I want to highlight that bringing an entire army for 1 kill of the weasel when sand can farm it on command is not something I think is fair. I also have no problem of the boss being in the sand maps, however I think warzone is just too close to sand to offer a fair gameplay to anyone trying to farm it. Move it to coyotes or big desert IMO

  23. As a Lightning user who's been dedicating himself into playing this mastery since 2013, I can say it's one of the finer balanced masteries currently. It is slightly underwhelming compared to other masteries as I can only think of 2 possible improvements. 1: Lightning current self stun reduced to 0.8s 2: Changing Lightning Senbon to piercing through multiple opponents (just like it originally was back in Alpha)

  26. +1 Bosses of this calliber should be World Bosses available for everyone. I think they should stick the Bandit style for these kind of enemies. Bosses such as Rat Kage, Tanuki etc. are fine since they aren't as big ones as Dark Weasel and don't have drops as Dark Scythes (even tho we still don't know stats).

So I was just browsing the forum and found the april fools joke about paid mastery and I saw Uchiha mastery then thought that genjutsu mastery might be a nice thing so I made Itachi's crows genjutsu animation. It might not be the best but Its the first gif I ever made. I also have a concept for genjutsu mastery. There would be 4 jutsus -self stun + stuns the enemy (the one of which i made the gif) -another one that just stuns the enemy -transformation into a tree -special substitution jutsu And what do you think would genjutsu mastery be a cool thing?

  29. HELLO GUYS! So, alright, I kept in mind there's that feature making people run faster, but I had no clue it's actually so significant. The moment one of the Akatsuki members killed me yesterday made me realize of how big of an impact that makes. I completely understand I stood no chance in a fight, it was okay for me to lose, but the fact I couldn't even run was just hilarious and totally unfair. The movement speed gap was huge as a canyon. I swear, I saw him moving two tiles per second while I barely moved one in the same period of time and he wasn't a Taijutsu user. I've had contacted the same person that killed me after the fight, and the funniest thing is that he told me there's people way faster than him. If I couldn't even move away from this guy, what'd happen against those he spoke about? I had no clue if someone made a post about this yet, but I'd categorize that as one of the most persistent bugs I experienced so far. I'm not one hundred percent sure if the movement speed also is correlated with ping, it might be too, it surely is for some extent, but that's something we kinda have no control of, I guess? The refresh rate impact on the other note can be dealt with, I believe. I we all share our thoughts and experiences on this there, Ueda and overall, the staff team might notice that this really is a troublesome thing that'd be better fixed. So, if I might ask you, write about things you had witnessed. I'm sure I'm not the only one. On whichever side you are on, the faster one or the slower, share your experiences. FOR ME... My monitor has 75hz refresh rate. I have had noticed that I'm definitely faster than some people and slower compared to some individuals too. My ping oscillates in 100-120 with pingzapper on, meaning I have no trouble with it. I often do see a person that is far ahead of me, and when we both run in one direction, I'm after some time either by their side, or just ahead of them. On the other side, there's a lot of people that do the same to me. You can tell that is pretty confusing and unfair, especially in PVP that is the biggest aspect of this game.

  31. As Vipe explained, it's to do with the brief moments when people's clients hang due to large textures loading as you they across the map. When the client is frozen it can't move your character and send movement to the server. That causes the difference in movement speed. ie. Nobody is moving faster, a lot of people are moving slower. New client will fix this, no ETAs but we're working on it!

  36. Added new GM command to change a map's PvP Zone temporarily. /zone command for GMs to turn any map into an arena or turn off PvP for awhile. War Zone anywhere!
