Dear Ninja, Soon™ is finally here as we prepare to launch the Hidden Mist Village as the third playable starting village for Nin Online. This will be a game changing moment as it will be the biggest update since the launch of beta in 2017 (which introduced Sand village and Missing Ninja) in terms of content being introduced at the same time. because Mist village will launch with plenty of new content! The Land of Water Welcome to the Land of Water, a region ruled over by the Water Daimyo. The creatures and enemies roaming this new land is unique to it's shores. Even if you are not a Mist ninja, soon your missions will take you to the Land of Water, so you'll soon explore it yourself! Along with the Mist Village, a smaller village will also be present on launch, a small settlement on the edge of the Land of Water which will be used for storyline missions as time goes on. The Land of Water is a country ravaged by war. Bloody, and bloody poor, not everyone can afford to live in the biggest village. The mapping done for the Land of Water, including the Hidden Mist Village itself, is in my view, the finest of all the game so far. With detailed forest maps, and more details fit into each screen than ever before. The village is expansive, and all in all, we're introducing almost 50 new maps at once (including interiors of course). New Organization: Hunter-nin Hunter-nin are a concept unique to the Hidden Mist Village. Replacing the concept of an ANBU, hunter-nin stalk and kill missing Mist ninja to protect the secrets of the Mist. When the Leaf and Sand ANBU get ANBU swords, Hunter-nin will get water whips. New Organization: Mist Military Police Force Basically the equivalent of LMPF and SMPF for the Mist. The MMPF will be available at launch. However, due to the lack of Chunin in the village, there will not be much use for the organization early on. New Sub-mastery: Soap Bubble Style Just as the Leaf village has Gentle Fist style and the Sand village has Fan Style, the Mist village will launch with a complete and unique sub-mastery as well! New Politics With the introduction of a third village, a lot will change in terms of politics. Leaders will be hard pressed not to maintain a good relationship with at least one other village. Being in war with two villages will be hard for a village, so alliances will actually begin to matter. The Mist village will be ran as a militaristic dictatorship, where power will be challenged by others every few months. It will be a survival of the fittest. A battle to the death will determine the leader. This is very different from the Leaf village which is a democracy, and the Sand village which is a monarchy. With this, the kind of player who seeks for battles as a way to consolidate power should gravitate towards the bloody mist. The advisers of the Mist village will consist of 1 member of each clan in which the Mist leader favors. So once the victory has been won, as a check on power, the leader of the Mist village will choose 3 clans, which will each elect a respected member of the clan to become an adviser to the Mizukage. If all 3 clan leaders decide to, they can call for a battle to find a new leader at any time, but it has to be a Unanimous decision. As with any good dictatorship, we've already chosen that the village will be ran by no other than Mizukage @Kenock, with myself and @Sezu as the advisers to the Mizukage. We will work (mainly Kenock) to maintain some semblance of order while the village is in it's growth period without any proper ranks. New Soundtracks Of course, with a new location as major as this, we will be introducing new music to bring out the gloom of the Hidden Mist Village and the Land of Water. And even more..! The Mist will launch with just one unique summon, and more after, initial clans will be ready... I'll be detailing the work done for the village in further details in a development log post launch. New Launch Date We're here at a point we can safely announce that the launch date will be.. Regards, Ueda2 points

How to not make a point (and get banned) by Ueda Introduction There's a lot of people who join Nin Online just to make friends, PvP, enjoy the PvE or leveling experience, or just walk around a fully visualized 2D Ninja World, just generally have fun and then leave. But this isn't the only way to play Nin Online. If you're a bit of a cunt, there's another way to play the game (or not play!) So this is a guide for you. Introducing - Becoming a bit of a cunt and getting banned mode Why? So you're not happy with something. You want to make a point, but you don't want it to get across. But you also want to do it while being cool, and then get banned. No lie, it's cool when you see someone on discord standing up to authority or just being the contrarian who is never content with anything. It makes you look like a real cool person to hang out with when you join a community not to fit in, but to be that special guy along with all the other special guys with that bit of zest, that bit of edge. So you want to be that Edgy guy. You want to show the world "I'm edgy, I can show the staff who's boss in this community" and I can be thaaat guy. Next you need to know... How? I've broken it down into 4 steps. First you have to be a player with atleast some level of commitment, else how else will you be taken seriously? 1. Register a free account on Nin Online, a free to play game where the staff don't pander to you for money and nothing is pay to win, and you can enjoy every single bit of content for free without paying a cent forever with no disadvantages besides not looking as fab. 2. Login to the game or join our discord or forum community. 3. Enjoy for a good few days, weeks, month or years . This is the part that gets easier.. 4. Deciding all the people who make this game you've been enjoying are cunts now This is one of the easiest ways. Basically, you just stop being grateful that the staff have provided you with a game you wanted to play up to this point, and then start biting the hands that feed you. As you may know, Nin Online is ran and operated by a small team (mainly two people) who built this game for fans. We're not a large corporation with funding, and we don't have support staff. So it's very easy to turn all your interactions with the people who built the game into a shit show. One way to start is by making a valid criticism like "Nerf Tai/GF". With most games, the developers of the game typically have support staff and default responses to questions and feedback. So show your appreciation (or lack of) that the developers actually read all your messages personally and listen to your feedback 1:1 with a phrase like "smh, Tai/GF broken af, the staff have no idea how to balance" Antagonizing the developers, and just generally giving them flak for not doing exactly what you want, or for making design decisions you don't agree with is a great way to get banned, but you have to be vocal about it, a good statement to use would be.. "for real though, raise the exp rate everyone quitting because you want to make that blessing money" Adding an air of arrogance that says "I'm a better game designer than the people who have actually spent half their lives making this game for me now that I'm here everything about the design is shit and should change to be how I want it" is a good added touch. Of course, you can't be so direct so just say something along the lines of "for real though, would take me 5 minutes to fix the balance" or "It's easy, just do X and it'd be fixed" or "not gonna lie, staff don't know what they're doin" It's good to assume that your solution is brilliant and genius and the staff are just idiots who don't think, because it's not like it's their job to think about these problems every day so they would've never thought of it. It's not like they could have other things planned that would go against that change right? It's a game in development, so everything should be perfect at every point in time or else all the staff are cunts. In fact, you can capitalize on that by using a line like "Nin is dead because vision" "Because vision™" Conclusion It's not the only way to get your point across to staff. But the other ways like presenting your case respectably, don't make you more cool, and you wouldn't get banned. There's also a lot of other ways you can demonstrate your disdain for authority, or emphasize how funky rebellious you are in the face of authority. All in all, the only way the staff are going to listen to your feedback is if you're not even playing the game anymore, so if all else fails, just say you're quitting! Have fun!2 points

Ranks Mizukage The Mizukage is the Mist village's leader. The Mizukage is generally known to be a relentless fighter, as due to the political system governing the leadership position, being such is a requirement. To be strong is also a requirement to maintain the position. As the Mist village is a war torn village, and being the only thriving village in the Land of Water, the Mizukage holds to most important job, and sets the example for all other ninja to follow. Gaining Mizukage rank is easy, you just have to defeat the Mizukage in a challenge for his position. This can only be done if the leaders of the 3 clans in power choose to call for a battle to the death. The winner of the battle becomes the Mizukage, who then chooses 3 new clans to be in power. The old Mizukage is normally exiled if defeated in a battle challenge before his 6 months tenure. Retirement: If a ninja is a Chunin before becoming Mizukage, and serves as an active Mizukage for atleast 6 months. He will be promoted to Jonin upon retirement. Chunin & Jonin Path Chunin and Jonin path is the traditional ranking system in all villages. Chunin As a Chunin, you have reached a level of maturity and ability that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess and as such, are qualified to guide other ninja and lead missions. In a war, a Chunin would be a team leader. Requirement: Passing a Chunin Exam Jonin Generally highly experienced and highly skilled shinobi who serve as military captains. In a war, the Jonin would be a commander, commanding teams as battalions. If enough villagers and the respective Kage deem the shinobi to be fitting to the rank, they will be promoted. Requirement: Send a team of Genin into a Chunin Exam, Complete numerous RP Missions with players with mostly good reviews Specialized Jonin Path A Specialized Jonin, sometimes called an S-Jonin is a ranking granted to Ninja whom display "Jonin level abilities" in one area of the Ninja Arts (eg. Sensory, Medical Ninjutsu) but are not balanced in terms of skills, and hence would be unlikely to climb the normal Chunin and Jonin paths. Specialized Jonin are normally tasked to lead missions that require a higher-than-usual level in a specific ability. Eg. Leading a team of Medical Ninja on a rescue mission. In a war, a Specialized Jonin will normally either lead a team tasked with his specialization, or fight as a Genin-level ninja. A Specialized Jonin is comparable to a real world military specialist. A completely different path from the Officer rankings, and still under officers (in this case, Chunin and Jonin) in ranking. Requirement: Display extraordinary abilities in one area of the Ninja Arts, participate in a Chunin Exam. Genin Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. Requirement: Pass the Genin Test in the Academy Academy Student Academy students are trained and prepared for life as a shinobi. They are not an actual part of the shinobi force, as they are still in the process of mastering the very basics of the ninja lifestyle. However, they can be conscripted as part of the war potential in times of emergency. Titles Shadow Council The shadow council is picked by the Mizukage indirectly, by deciding on three clans within the village to elect someone to be in the Shadow Council. They hold great power to overthrow the Mizukage himself, which is the only check on power the village has. Requirement: The general rule of thumb is that the highest ranking ninja from each clan is the default choice, unless there is heavy objection within the clan. Hey Ninja, Since 2013, we've ran two major competitions called "Ready, Set, Refer!". Those were referral contests. This time, it's going to be quite a different concept, but it's your chance to win a bunch of prizes. It's not as major as the referral contest, but it's going to be a lot easier to join in, so I hope there'll be more participants. Ready, Snap, Go is our first screenshot competition hosted by myself, where I'll be picking the best 6 screenshots, and each player will receive the following prizes! Prizes 1st Place: Silver Ninja / $10 Ninja Credit / Shark Skin Changer 2nd Place: $10 Ninja Credit / Shark Skin Changer 3rd - 6th Place: Shark Skin Changer On top of these prizes, the screenshots will also be prominently displayed in the Official Screenshots section with a text saying "Screenshot submitted by YOURNAME" for probably the rest of time, which will be a neat legacy/mark to leave on Nin Online, if you're into that~ The reason I'm including so many Shark Skin Changers may seem weird at first, but I'm sure you can make the connections yourself! Rules Submit as many screenshots as you like of Nin Online Screenshots should be of Nin Online (In-game, not login, not discord) Screenshots should be 1920x1080 or 4K but in Zoomed Mode, don't crop your screenshot! Screenshots should not be stretched in any way Submit screenshots without any personal credits (we'll add that in ourselves, in a consistent style) Editing must be done tastefully, as to not mislead potential players (and no memed images) Submit your screenshots into this forum in the account you would like the prizes to be received on. The Deadline is June 5th 2019! Tips Hidden UI Mode is preferred but not a requirement ("Tab" Key to Hide UI) Empty scenes are boring, try getting a group involved Less text on screen makes for a more appealing screenshot, chatboxes can be fine, but it's not appealing text, it'll be distracting Choose an interesting map which means something to you or appeals to everyone you can use ALT + PRT SCN to capture a image of your window, if you are playing in windowed mode. If you are playing in fullscreen mode, just PRT SCN will do. Once you have that, you can paste your clipboard into paint and save it as a .PNG for highest quality Hiding your cursor is a good idea Think about what you can use to attract potential players into the Nin world Looking forward to seeing what everyone submits! Ooooookay but why sit here and feed into the negativity yourself. It just promotes it to continue...? I can understand your frustrations and all but idk, taking time and energy to make a post like this seems counter productive. Toxic people will exist regardless due to the anonymity the internet provides. Better off just ignoring it and focusing on the positive aspects. GL. Edit: Oof why am I on this account1 point
