  1. Dear Ninjas, In the past few months, we've been running relatively low on funds for our server. We're not going to die because of it. But It's been so bad that I had to pump in my own money to pay for our forum license. Army pays me peanuts, so the hit on my monthly spending power is pretty drastic. I don't really mind, I know that developing a game doesn't entitle you to have it float on it's own! But it would be a great if the game could support it's own development cost. As always, funds are spent on Software licenses, Virtual Services, Server hosting, Web hosting & Commissions. We've been working hard day and night to bring Nin Online great new contents, features and weeding out bugs for alpha 3. As such, we've decided that if we're able to get enough donations that the game will be able to sustain itself in the long term... we will push forward the Alpha by 16 days! Making the first closed alpha happen on the 15th July. This means that open alpha will also be pushed forward. In addition to this, we will prepare ourselves to run the 1st Chunnin Exams shortly after. Alpha 3 Donations: $805/500 Goals: $250 - 1st Chunnin Exams held during Alpha 3 Chunnin Exams to be held in Open Alpha 3! $500 - Closed Alpha & Open Alpha brought forward by 16 days! Closed Alpha 3 moved up to July 15th! We may extend our goal to $1,000. How to donate? All Ninja Credit bought between now and 10th July will be considered a donation to Alpha 3 funds! You will still be given your Ninja Credit, which will soon be used to buy cosmetic items such as hairstyles, faces and costumes. Click here to proceed straight to the cash shop to donate. Step-by-step guide Donors Nin Online is only be possible with your support, we would like thank everyone who donates to the game. Regards, Rory

  4. Fer's 1st Development Log Katon Karyuudan no Jutsu (Fire Style, Fire Dragon Awakening) Dear shinobi, I bring you my very first development log, announcing this very little update, hoping you all like it. My latest contributions in the game are the Akatsuki Cloak fully animated and the Fire Dragon Jutsu, along with some customizations, but I didn't feel like showing it in this development log. Katon Karyuudan technique I'd like to thank and credit Elk, for making the North state sprite for this skill, and Rory for spending 3 whole days animating the Jutsu as well as the Akatsuki cloak. That's all from me for today, thank you for reading.

  7. I am very new to this community, but I can tell by the way Rory talks about the project I can sense that Rory is putting all his passion and drive into this game. Not only for himself as a creator, but also for his staff that he works alongside. He has a goal set to make sure that he provides the best gaming experience he can possibly give to his dedicated community. I feel Rory is the type of person who has great heart and care for his community, because I am sure to him it is not only a community of people, but a family of sorts. You all come together with the love and passion for Nin Online and Rory sees that and uses that as his boost, his passion stems from not only his own wants, but the communities wants. I believe Rory when he says things like in the above quote. Thank you for the effort and hard work Rory and the Nin Online team from me. (Sorry for my rambling, hopefully it wasn't too unbearable).

  11. The most effective way to reach this goal and insure that the game itself is sustained in the long-term, is to add another ''special group'', much like Gold and silver members; whom donate a small amount on a month-by-month basis. They would be doing this deed purely out of the goodness of their hearts and not to fulfil their own selfish desires. Although, a stone statue in-game for the purposes of vanity would greatly motivate these ''Monthly backers''. I don't agree with this post. I have my own reasons for not wanting this game to rely too much on money but then again, nothing in this world is free and all that jazz. Good luck with your goal.

  12. You've made it hard on us by including Chuunin Exams as an offer. I'll do my best.

  13. Shiro through my perspective I guess. I based it off of the drawing of shiro, but I think I changed enough of it where it could be considered a newer take on a piece.

  15. So before I began, I will say that I did this for Amazi. She challenged me to try something that I didn't think I would be good at. I'm not the biggest fan of drawing art or painting, However for Amazi I decided to work hard at this and do the best I could do with the little bit of equipment that I had lol. To start, I used a pin. Now of course this is the worse thing you could possibly do with the draft of your art project as I had no way of erasing the mistakes I made on my drawing. I decided to go with something basic. So instead of drawing something extremely complex or too hard, I took multiple pictures of Kakashi and pieced them together to draw his face. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would have been. Take my word for it, Kakashi's ears are bordering on suicide using a pin. ha ha Here are the portraits I decided to use for Kakashi. Looking at those pictures was tricky and for some strange reason it was more difficult to find a picture of Kakashi's face online without the sharingan open. I had to carefully draw slow so as to not mess up the the most important feature of Kakashi's face, his head band. Even then, with that pin I probably did more damage than I did good. With further and do, here are the drawings of Kakashi's face that I drew. It goes from the beginning to the full finished colored art work. Using my camera on this was fun. I actually enjoyed this. Amazi was right. :-) I hope you guys like it :-D Oya I almost forgot, I'm not doing this for the art competition, I only did it for Amazi because I promised her. *New Add* Please feel free however, to add this to the competition if you would like to, so as to get the community together. Thank You :-D
