I was thinking the same thing (about the cash shop), but then I realized it would fund the developers meaning they will have more incentive/time to spend on the project.

Cash shop, purely for cosmetic purposes & hopefully you'll add some new enemies. Grinding the same thing has bored me hence why I've stopped playing.
