Hey Iyashino, the game will be out indefinitely We will continue to push updates hopefully daily with new content while the server remains up! The Gold Headband will be given free of course. I will personally distribute the item on the launch day. Of course being online at the launch will guarantee that you'll get it the fastest, but I will give the rest of them manually!

Most of our player base is American, I made the initial mistake of organizing in my own time zone (+8GMT) and so I've to move it back to a time convenient for both me and the majority of the player base. As I've said, I apologize for the bad planning to those who I have inconvenienced!

They still don't get any bonuses besides RP benefits and early access for testing phases. It's pretty fair. It's good that we release the game to a closed, smaller group of players to test before the more massive test which will be the open testing phase. Who else fits this role better than the most loyal supporters, out Gold and Silver ninja!

Glad to see you back what was your username back then? I'm glad you had confidence in me. The saddest email I had to send out was the cancellation of the project. But at the end I promised I would bring it back one day. Nin Online is the game I've always wanted to make, and always will.

This will be the first phase of the 2nd Early Alpha Test. The second phase will of course come a few days after that and be open for everyone else! About Forum/Game Accounts Take note that now that the Authentication server is complete, the server will be accessed with your forum login name. Once in the game, the name that will display as your Ninja's name will be that of your forum display name. In preparation for the release, all members have been given a free name change! The server will only be accessible to accounts which have donated for the Gold Ninja Badge. Why get Gold Ninja early? Don't miss out on the chance to get into the game world early (though you will not have much of an upper hand besides experiencing the game & it's new content earlier), get your Gold Ninja badge by visiting the Nin Online store. A reminder is that the Early Gold Ninja Reward is still up for grabs until this Sunday where the extended offer will finally close for good. From then, the Gold Ninja Forehead protector will never be available again! Offer is now over! When will normal players get to test? We're hoping to clear a large amount of bugs before releasing it to public, but at the same time we want to test for more bugs and things we can improve on with a smaller testing group - hence we're calling for our benefactors to do us the favor. Yeap you just buy tokens to spend at the festival. I hope to do some sort of mini game for the market someday. The idea was mainly inspired by a holiday I went on to Taiwan, it had the craziest night market filled with games and great good so I decided Konoha had to have a place like that.

The Night Market

Dear Ninja, It's been awhile since the last development log. I thought I'd share some sweet news about the development along with some pretty screenshots to please your eyes for the time being. We've been taking trips to visit Konoha between our long hours working on the game, and I can only describe the place with this word - "Home". Each time I log in and visit the pier I feel like I could just chill with my friends there for hours and talk about anything! I can't help but feel proud that I built this village myself with this as the objective. I wanted to create a home for all the leaf ninjas to feel like they belonged somewhere. I was largely influenced by Ragnarok Online in my teenage years to know the importance of creating a grand hub where players could enjoy just hanging out with their friends in. Ignore the naked, bald men selling food in the night market. This is a picture of our visit to the Night Market today. It was rather cloudy as you can see! Update on Authentication Server Abhi has gotten the Authentication server done and almost bug free. What this means is that as I type this, I'm playing Nin Online with my forum account! It won't be long before we release a stable client for everyone to play. Update on other problems Unfortunately, the 1024x768 resolution is still not optional at this point in time. We're going to work to fix this as soon as possible. It's a problem which mainly affects those who use 1366x768 monitors (mostly laptops), and it's a problem we want to fix. It is quite a bit of work required though. Update on content Abhi is likely going to revamp much of the mission system which is in place at the moment. It's isn't adequate if we want to build the game around interesting missions for everyone! The Academy Student phase of the Leaf Village up until the end of the Genin Test and graduating is complete! The Konoha outskirts are much much more vast than they were before now. Hope these screenshots can satisfy your thirstiness for Nin Online for the time being while we work hard to push for a release as soon as possible.
