But what if the Hokage is in great danger of getting blindsided by a mega jutsu and you like use you shadow to quickly capture them and move them out of harms way...That would be a boss assist... lol

AOE is Area Of Effect its usually a skill/move that attacks enemies in a full 360 circle for a couple of seconds if i recall correctly

Yeah, as everyone here's been getting at AoE means, in this case, an attack that damages multiple people in an area. Some examples would be Hyuuga Rotation(damages all people around the hyuuga) and Asuma's Fire Release Ash Pile Burning(damages everyone in the ash when he ignites it)

Lol it's like every other topic, something is being said about how it shouldn't or should be like GOA. As for shadow bind, I think you should be able to make the character at least walk and run around, that would be fun.
