One bright sunny day over the sandy dunes appeared a hooded figure. He was exhausted and burning from days of roaming the dry deserts. The figure spotted high walls rising above the sand, that was Sunagakure the village hidden in the sand. They took him in and let him rest in their hospital and recovered. Apparently he had never heard of chakra or ninjutsu before so the village shinobi introduced him to the Ninja Academy, soon he became a genin with simple understanding of the water nature. The boy didn't remember anything from his past, even his own name so the village shinobi started calling him by Iroh. Iroh started practicing more and more trying his best for his new home, never thinking about his past or where he came from. Through this new journey he forged a lot of new friendships with people who helped him such as  Donatello Johnson, Tomenta and another quite new to the village boy, Hageshi. 

Iroh's ambitions drove him to a cold blooded mindset, he became rough to enemies and didn't care who stood before him. If they meant harm to his home or friends, they were just another bounty to claim.
