  1. Before I start, can we please be civilized? If you disagree with something, it's completely fine just don't start dragging the person and their opinion. First of all we have the org problem. Our 12G buff is extremely underwhelming compared to what the other villages' orgs bring. They both have a lot of CC and in the 7sm's case, the stat buffs are quite literally broken. In the past few days, Sand literally proved that even with lower numbers their puppets can carry them to victory. I've been in 12G and I can assure you that most of us DO NOT want anything that is also BROKEN, we just want something to be able to compete with the other organizations mentioned above since clearly sheer numbers can't be the solution for everything. I'm sure fellow leafies have great ideas for a 12G ability. This screenshot shows how broken PB's puppets are and they're AOE. In maps like DB or KB, they make a HUGE difference. If you actually think this is fair then I don't know what to say at this point tbh. Secondly, our passive. Quite literally the most unreliable passive in the game. Don't get me wrong, WoF definitely saved me a couple of times and I doubt any leafies can say the contrary BUT since it's RnG you literally never know what's going to happen when you get it. It's literally a 5% chance but people still want to say that it's broken and the percentage is actually higher etc. The owner of the game literally said it himself. I think it's unnecessary to explain why WoF is bad at this point. Many leafies AND non leafies have said it. In a week I think I get like a total of 5 WoFs and I try to login every day, that should say a lot. I think it should be like a choice. You get 3 WoFs in a day (resets at daily reset) and basically you get up with 25% of your max HP and 15% of your max chakra. Or another idea: when your HP drops to like 200 HP, you get 50 hp back and a stat buff for 15 seconds. Please feel free to give other ideas too. If I missed something please add it @Ueda Please listen to us

  2. As a 12g leader I can say that the buff is really bad compared to what other organizations do, honestly 12g is way below the standards that other organizations are in, the buff at the moment is like a shield that increases its "sustainability" in defense but actually an buff +10 in stats is not enough, honestly in my opinion it is somewhat irrelevant, as the others say, I think that an increase in statistics of +15 points and add a jutsu like 2-3 seconds of the Immunity for me would be fine, I would try to balance things a bit and 12g would have a more specific role in the raids as the 12 guardians needs stay in the front row of attack, also today I was impressed to see how a puppet deleted a partner It almost kill me too but I reacted on time. tbh only the lowbies who don't know 12g are the ones who want to join but when they enter the organization and see reality they are disappointed in their buff.

  3. I've skimmed this topic over a few times and saw a few notable points. And to be honest... WoF: I think any rational person would agree that WoF is in fact the most underwhelming passive skill in the entirety of the game yet it still hasn't been addressed in full as to why that is. Aside from the unreliable RNG mechanic, You have to wait a full 10 seconds usually before you get back up. Which in all honesty, means nothing when the enemy can just camp your body and place a stationary jutsu such as tags and/or firewalls on top of your body to ensure you die instantly if you were to get back up. The counter argument is that it's supposedly clutch in raids however with the vast amount of crowd control the other villages possess, whether that be from their buff (Grand Puppets and Seven Swordsmen) and/or their village specialties (Wind Tornado's and Stationary Bubbles), you'll find yourself caught up yet again in the chaos of battle. Not to mention you have to also account for the the lag that comes with heavily concentrated maps and while everyone if usually affected, the puppets, in sands case, are still usually still in motion. Even in a 1v1 scenario, the passive literally does nothing but prolong the inevitable. Reviving at low health with no chakra is a bit overkill, you're just flicker or homing away from dying again. Overall: Nin is in an era where the majority of players travel in packs, which surface wise there's nothing wrong with... Excluding the fact leaf doesn't have much to utilize to repel, let alone compete with opposing groups. Other villages will claim that leaf is disorganized, which at times can be true however there isn't much you can do whenever narrow maps are littered with Grand Puppets that all have high damage output, backed with shinobi who all pretty much have a 3 tile wide tornado stun or 3 clams stunning ninja upon entry to camped maps for a barrage of ranged attacks that if you sub, you'll run the risk of being chained into a bubble stun. Leaf has no such utility. Sure, we could go to Sand, Mist, Takumi, wherever and attempt to place a bunch of slugs that barely fulfill the role they were designed to do, to serve as our "stun mechanics" or "heavy damage dealers" at the entrance and see where that gets us. That said, its not so hard to cop kills from leaf by camping Dark Bridge. In fact its such an effective method that's all sand and mist would do. Majority of that isn't skill, its just lack of balance.

  4. There's no reason for a puppet to have the same impact as a Bandit Boss npc in the battle field. This amount of burst would be manageable if the puppet didnt have a 0 second cooldown, there could be some gap of time between summons. Compared to a meager 10 all stat buff, the difference is astronomical when it comes to 12g's waist cloth .

  6. First of all, Rory from the start said that current PB Great Puppets are just temporary and that they will be heavily reworked. Since then the only thing he did was nerfing the crushing wave dmg (it was way bigger at the beginning as most of you probably remember). I don't know what are Rory's ideas about puppets but imo they should get way more hp and instead get a CD after being destroyed. It would also be great if their appearance would be changed 'cause they look bad. In the manga/anime there's been several puppets that could serve as a model. That's how Sand's regular puppet summons were done and they look really cool. Another idea - that probably will never be applied since it would take a lot of work - would be giving PB different kind of puppets with various skills (for example tank puppet, dmg puppet etc.). As for 12g buff, I agree that it's too weak compared to PB and 7SM and needs to be changed. I think Itachi's solution about it is interesting. Lastly, in my opinion some of you are overestimating Great Puppet's power. They are OP only on like 3 maps in this game and on others usually they're just floating around mostly doing nothing (just watch videos that are made on wider maps and focus on GP's to see). You should also consider that Puppet Brigade has no stat buff 'cause we're losing it as soon as we summon the puppet. To me the most OP village buffs are those of 7SM org. If Great Puppets are to be nerfed, so should the swords.

  9. -Will of Fire is mostly useless given that you have no chakra to work with when you get back up. It's unreliable and impractical as it is. -12G has been very underwhelming. I would say that +15 all stats and a granted immunity frame sounds like a plausible suggestion. -Some say Leaf doesn't deserve better buffs due to them having numbers, which is a very flawed argument imo. Factually speaking Leaf has more numbers on average daily basis, but they're more spread around throughout the day. Whereas Sand has an organized NA prime time where their sheers numbers can be way more devastating. On that note Leaf also has more lowbies while the other villages are mostly 50+ Secondly, In any 10v10 fight with Puppet brigades, it's basically as if you're fighting against twice the numbers with puppets that deal 153x3 colliding wave damage. A little +100 fort buff isn't going to save anyone from being one-shotted by a Flicker-Fan combo proceeded by +10x3 Puppet wave barrage Thus the argument of discussing buff in terms of total village numbers makes no sense, judging by how 7SM/PB raid together with their ridiculous buffs together with +10 more village members. --- Another option as some have pointed out is to tone down the buffs of the other Orgs which a good alternative solution as well.

  10. The easiest path is not necessarily the best path. Village buffs shouldn’t be that strong period.

  11. The problem is not 12G being underwhelming. Village buffs shouldn’t be that strong. Therefore PB and 7SM buffs needs to be toned down to the 12G one. Village buffs has to be relevant but not overwhelming.

  12. A lot of us have been there, a lot of us will. A state of mind where we're not completely ourselves. In such times, it's completely acceptable to drown yourself in things that make you happy, because time heals a lot of problems. If you're experiencing tough times, and you feel pushed to a corner, Nin Online should be a place where people's feel safe to unwind. Although we're not a PG-13 gaming experience, and our community and game is open to swear words and NSFW talk, let's try to build a positive, non-toxic environment for everyone. When we're RP-ing, it's fine and dandy to behave any way you like. But when OOC, let's remember that life is short and in years to come, we will look back and remember everyone fondly for having added to the experience. Let's stay away from comments like "go kill urself" or "just die", if in a moment of heated conflict you say such things. Think to apologize afterwards, because words do hurt. Be bigger men. Enjoy!

  14. Hey guys, Just a less gameplay, content related development log, and more a thank you here - so only read if you really care about the game and my own life stuff. Thanks for supporting us monetarily First, the thank you is because this past month has become the most financially successful month of Nin Online in it’s history since 2013, which is incredibly humbling for me because I never thought the game would see so much support. From the start, I’ve been very adamant about trying to be ethical with monetisation and making it as non-Pay2Win and as optional as possible. We sell strictly only cosmetic items in the cash shop, and exp boosts apply to everyone, which was an idea taken from a peer game that saw much more success with the feature because of the larger player base. That being said, doing this has no doubt been one of the reasons for the Long-term support of our most dedicated ninja in this community, whereas multiplayer games in the same genre which are selling out and becoming P2W dwindle in player numbers, Nin has been consistent and even growing! Thank you for from the bottom of my heart for supporting the game’s development. We have more in stall in the coming months and have no intention of slowing down in content. To be fair to the contributions, everything past a reasonable living is what I have and will spend on speeding up development of content on the game. In recent months, I’ve been paying Seth to rework the server in a modern language, and this month’s sales incomes are going towards paying a freelance artist, Zane, to create more summons - which in just the past 2 weeks meant 2 new animal summons on top of the content that I added. Thanks for supporting us by playing In the past few months, there’s also been a lot more active players than usual, and it’s very encouraging to see whenever I come online. It has been a tiring 6 years to create the world of Nin and the characters in it, and it makes me happy to see it explored. I try my best to leave little Easter eggs and lore around, and it makes me happy to know that people have lived through this world. A lot of people have expressed positivity to the amount of new content that has been added in the past few months. But in all honesty, these past few months have been better for me in terms of work, I’ve not needed to put in as much effort as the past 5 years of development because a lot of the groundwork has been laid out and a lot of the systems that are created like clans and summons are not entirely utilised yet, but have been implemented. So it’s a lot more of doing the fun stuff, and not so much the nitty gritty boring backend stuff. With better financial support, I’ve also been able to get help, which is much needed. On a personal note As some of you all know, making Nin Online has taken a good part of my best years, and I while I don’t regret it, hear me out. When I started Nin Online in 2013, I worked on Nin day-in and day-out non-stop, even working through nights in my mandatory conscription, when I finished that, I was a graduate of game design and was immediately scouted to join a game studio, which I left to continue working on Nin Online, which was at the time not making money. As I see my peers working in reputable game studios like Square Enix and Ubisoft, it is a little bit worrying for myself as to the Long term viability of this game to sustain my life. I’ve also chosen the much less conventional path, which is scary in itself. As it stands, Nin Online is not great income for myself, but is more than enough for me to live my frugal life style while not worrying about rent and bills - but that’s because I don’t have any debts to pay off or people depending on me to feed them. But I eventually do want to get married, buy a house and have kids. I’m not young anymore, and so I do have to worry about long term career unlike when I started this at 18. Which is why I’m just making this personal note to ask that if I ever do announce another indie project, that I would get the same support or at least your consideration before the inevitable things like “cloud when?” Or “go back to working on Nin”. Because as I’ve said, I have no intention on giving up on Nin Online. But at the same time, I don’t intend for it to be the only thing I do with my life and skills. If I do have other things I’m working on, you can guarantee that it’s at my own expense and not at the time I would’ve worked on Nin Online. From 2013, the way I mainly funded myself and the development of Nin Online was to take freelance work from other game Developers and studios. But In the past year, I’ve been able to spend less time on freelance, almost none at all, and focus that time and energy on Nin Online and side projects. I love Nin Online, I have no doubt that the players here love Nin Online. But I really hope that when I do inevitably have more to my resume, that my time contribution to Nin Online will not be discredited by time spent on other things. This is no doubt the proudest thing I’ve made. But I hope that when I announce Shinigami Online, Pirate Online and My Hero Online (jk I’m not making any of that, mmorpgs are way too much work for a side project) that it’ll be supported by everyone, and I don’t expect anyone to pay for anything - but a quick shout out, a nice steam review, a retweet, a share, all of that would be appreciated, and anything else I’m successful in will also help me pump that back into improving Nin Online and getting more help. BUT YES MORE UPDATES ARE COMING, CLOUD WHEN - Probably not for a few years - BUT UPDATES NONETHELESS. SAMURAI, MORE DOGGOS, BUFF FAN BUFF WIND, PUPPETS REWORK ETC. NO ETAS. STOP ASKING ME FOR NAME CHANGES. HAPPY THANKS GIVING!
