Whack's Development Log #2
Ninja Creation!

 

Hi everyone, I'm glad to see the community growing rapidly!

 

This is my second development log, and as you may of noticed Rory has four already! How am I supposed to keep up with that guy? Haha, just kidding, anyways I'm doing this fast because I have to go out to a graduation party tonight, and I just got something done that made me want to tell all of you about our progress.

 

Hair Color Selection

Your ninja will be customizable in many different ways, one being hair color. So far there are 14 different hair types, seven for male and seven for female. For each hair, there is 27 different colors. Thats over 300 different combinations from hair alone! Here is a sneak peak of the ninja customization screen!

 

 

As you can see, there will also be 27 different eye colors to choose from, as well as your starting shirt and pant color. All players will start out as an Academy Student, and progress from there. I am extremely impressed by the amount of work Rory has put in, and I am definitely feeling confident that we will meet our schedule for Nin. The two of us work fantastic together, and I can't stress that enough. Our chemistry as high as it can get!

After reading up on all the progress logs, i can say that i am very impressed. As i told rory, " This made me squeel". Lol i can't wait for the finish work.

The Custimization screen looks epic, but the curse mark, if its 4 creating a character 4 a village i think it would be better to maybe change it into the villages symbol, but tthats only if theyres going to be a seperate screen 4 each village. Other than that its epic.

Looking good , would like to see a height editor and weight editor/ muscle tone editor for better customization if possible in the future

 

I wish, but that's very far-fetched (at least for this engine)

@Whack The Customization screen looks great I hear you added Skin coloring, it doesn't seem its missing anything. Maybe you could add headbands(And other accessories) and custom Picture Icon for more of a Customization

You will start off without a Forehead protector, and earn it on promotion to Genin! You will be able to customize your starting clothes as well.

Hello all I'm new to this community and I can't wait to get started playing, what I've seen so far looks spectacular . The customization looks just so well put together its not to much or to little and you guys in enough colors (In my opinion) for their not to be an RBG option. Gonna spread the word to my peeps, like I said wait to see some gameplay and other stuff and to actually play and best of luck :D.
