Seth-Disabled Posted May 21, 2014 Report Posted May 21, 2014 Seth's Development Log #7Fullscreen, Splash Screen, and Misc. Improvements FullscreenYou may now enter fullscreen mode by pressing Alt + Enter or by inputting the /fullscreen command. Once you enter fullscreen mode, it will be saved, and each time you launch the game it will restore your preferred setting automatically. Splash ScreenWhile the game is loading, it will display a splash screen. This screen will fade in as the game loads and fade out once the game has finished loading. We've also improved the game's loading to be very fast which means that there is no need to have a loading screen any longer. Item and Jutsu Description OverhaulWe've improved the coloring for the level, rank, and type requirement to be more informative and consistent with the other parts of the game. For example, if you do not meet the level requirement for an item, it will show as red rather than green. Green demonstrates that you pass the requirement. Red demonstrates that you do not pass the requirement. Chakra cost has been added to the Jutsu description. Projectile ImprovementsWe've added where projectiles can hit in all 8 directions. They also are able to explode or animate once they come into contact with a solid object such as a wall or corpse. This also means that once a projectile hits a corpse, it will end prematurely, too. 8 Directional AttacksYou can now attack from all 8 directions, the same goes for NPCs and other players. Hotbar ImprovementsWe've added the ability to swap your hotbar slots by holding shift and dragging them to the slot that you desire. You may now also destroy slots just by dragging them off the hotbar, but this is not in our demonstration. 15

Oku Posted May 21, 2014 Report Posted May 21, 2014 Is it because of the gif that the fullscreen scale is too wide? Will it be like that in game or will it be optimized the the monitor resolution? 1
TakudoOLD Posted May 21, 2014 Report Posted May 21, 2014 OMG I LOVE THE GIFS SO MUCH!!!! Makes me so excited to get into game! Cant wait till the next alpha test!!! Also i love these improvements! the content is getting so much more and its looking badassssssS!!!! :')
wolf-OLD-2025 Posted May 21, 2014 Report Posted May 21, 2014 Does this mean we have to be facing northeast to attack to the northeast? In other words, do we have to simultaneously press UP + RIGHT then ATTACK to attack in that direction? Or can we simply just move RIGHT and attack an enemy who is standing to the Northeast? Kind of like in Gameboy 2D Zelda games where we can face East and our attacks would hit the spaces directly to the NE, E, and SE.

Feinz Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Hmm I forgot, how exactly do you get these rare/uncommon items? I'm assuming they won't come from purchase or the real question is, what makes them rare.
Yassrab Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Everything's looking good ! You guys aren't planning to make a download for Mac anytime soon right? (Got Windows 7 downloaded through Parallels for this game anyways)

Not all scrolls will be sold in shops.
Guest Glitch Yagyu Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 Welp, whoever achieves getting this, congrats haha.
wolf-OLD-2025 Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 That's actually a good idea. GBA Zelda games are the greatest 2D action-rpgs. Wouldn't hurt to steal some of their ideas. 1
Seth-Disabled Posted May 22, 2014 Author Report Posted May 22, 2014 Will we be able to adjust resolution in full screen mode? The screen seems kinda stretched Fullscreen at the moment will stretch the window to the monitor's resolution. We will be adding widescreen support to the resolution to avoid stretching. Does this mean we have to be facing northeast to attack to the northeast? In other words, do we have to simultaneously press UP + RIGHT then ATTACK to attack in that direction? Your direction is cached allowing you to press the attack key once you are facing in the designated direction you are wanting to attack in. so if you want to attack northeast all you have to do is be facing northeast by pressing up and right once until you want to attack in a different direction. 1
